About Us
Dawn Elements is an impact investment house that works to extend opportunities for systems change, and to advance progressive narratives on how people see themselves, how they see the world and their place in it. We are enabling dignity for the human experience and changing the culture and systems in the impact investment and development space.
Why we do this
Extending Opportunities
It has been more than 200 years since the industrial revolution – but across many emerging economies, people with smartphones still go to bed hungry, women still rank low on the opportunities ladder and youth unemployment is at an all time high. The forces of development have become too complex to fit simple solutions.
The world today calls for creativity in the face of multiple social crises that are too big to be fixed by governments and NGOs alone. Our contribution has been to make strategic impact investments with high social – economic returns, and work with a global network of co-conspirators interested in solving the complex challenges of the present and the future. Our social investments connect nodes across wellness, climate change, agriculture value addition, and human living spaces.
Narratives
Narratives shape our knowledge and perceptions, which in turn form our realities. Those realities influence our attitudes and our actions. We believe narratives, storytelling and thought leadership are one of the most powerful ways to inform, influence and inspire thought and action in a manner that seeks to advance human progress. Our commitment to this is represented by our investments in the Knowledge Economy and in Marifa Village as a space and platform for global thinkers and creators.
Advisory Services
We take what we are seeing and learning, to shape and provide advice, information, data and rigorous analysis to those interested in understanding the political-economy and social investment context. We offer world class strategy and insights powered by knowledge for our clients to achieve high feasible growth and effective strategies for measuring and maximising impact. Our diverse networks are heavily invested in the knowledge economy and pursuing a better version of the world. We distinguish ourselves as advisors whose resources are also invested in the markets and context in which we advise.
